The Gilded Age: A Tale of Yesterday
Saint Augustine, Florida in the age of gold.
ST. AUGUSTINE RECORD BUILDING
Built in 1906 by a company owned by Henry Flagler, the "Record Building" was constructed as the new home of the Daily Herald newspaper. The Daily Herald eventually became the current St. Augustine Record. Eventually the newspaper outgrew the location in 2001 and relocated to a newly constructed building located on State Road 207, but the original building still stands today as the Cordova Apartments, located on Bridge Street.
