CAPO'S BATH HOUSE

Capo's Bath House was an octagonal, wooden structure located on the St. Augustine bay front. Built in the 1870s, the Bath House offered a variety of bath options including both hot and cold water, seawater baths, and sulfur water baths. The structure burned down during a fire in 1914 and was never rebuilt, although the steps that once led to the structure can still be seen at the seawall.
